The exhaust outlet connection bolts to the turbocharger turbine outlet and turns the hot exhaust gas through the bend to the exhaust system flange, with a welded bracket that takes the weight of the pipework off the turbo housing; it is replaced when the original cracks at a weld, warps a flange or seizes its studs. It runs from a square four-bolt inlet flange to a round eight-hole outlet flange. On the Cummins parts site 5336060 is marked obsolete and superseded by 5347072, the active number for the same Exhaust Outlet Connection, so a parts list for your engine may show either number.
