The exhaust outlet connection bolts to the turbocharger turbine outlet and turns the hot exhaust gas through the bend to the exhaust system flange; it carries a threaded boss for an exhaust sensor and a welded bracket that takes the weight of the pipework off the turbo housing, and is replaced when the original cracks at a weld, warps a flange or seizes its studs. It runs from a square four-bolt inlet flange to a round eight-hole outlet flange.
