Genuine Volvo Penta marine diesel cylinder head for the D2-75 engine, a new take-off removed from a new/unused engine build and never run in service. The cylinder head seals the top of the cylinder bores and carries the inlet and exhaust valves, valve springs, injector bores and the coolant and oil galleries, so it is the part replaced when a head cracks, corrodes, warps or fails a pressure test — a common and expensive job if bought at main-dealer prices. This head is supplied complete with valves and springs fitted as pictured, with clean internal water passages, and has been stored indoors. Confirmed fitment: Volvo Penta D2-75; it may also suit D2-55 and related D2-series variants, but the buyer should confirm against the casting and part number on their own head before ordering.
